What is Flowent?
Flowent is an AI-powered language learning platform that lets you practice speaking with a real-time AI tutor. It supports scenario-based roleplay, free conversation practice, vocabulary tracking, and progress analytics.
How does voice practice work?
When you start a voice session, your audio is streamed in real time to Google Gemini (via Vertex AI) for conversation. Audio is processed live and not stored after the session ends. Only text transcripts are saved to track your progress.
Is my data safe?
Yes. All AI processing happens in the EU (Frankfurt). Google does not use your data to train AI models. Audio is never stored. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Which languages are supported?
Flowent currently supports Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Russian, Korean, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese — with more languages being added regularly.
I'm an instructor. How do I set up a class?
Instructors can create courses, assign lessons and scenarios, and track student progress through the teacher dashboard. Contact us at contact@getflowent.com to get started with an instructor account.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the app settings, or email privacy@getflowent.com. Your data will be removed within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
